My journey as a graphic designer and web developer began in 2003 with the creation of Xtreme Web Designs, a partnership with fellow designer Cheryl Macklin. Cheryl has since retired from design work and I have continued on my own. Web site creation and logo design are the main aspects of Xtreme Web Designs.

I have had a love affair with the written word since I was in middle school and I became a freelance writer in 2007. My diverse background, excellent research skills, and ability to spin the written word into an adventure for the reader has been a true blessing. Many of my clients are repeat clients but I also enjoy the challenge of working on new and inventive design and/or writing projects.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my dogs, daughter, and friends. Writing fiction is a true delight but the bread and butter of my freelance career is writing dog guides, travel guides and sports commentary. I am available to work on large or small projects. Usually when I write, it is under my pen name, Micki Holley, however, I am also known under my real name when writing dog-related guides due to my experience with training, breeding, and exhibiting dogs. I have also used by real name when contracted by friends and former colleagues for design work.
